As an Indian(contradictory to the youth) i like Classical and Carnatic Music. And as a youth i like the new age Electronica too. And, thus fusion of both made me came across Karsh Kale,a music composer, an Indian, (Marathi precisely) residing in New York. His songs brings both of the music genres at their best.

The Music is more or less ‘Lounge” and is best when you are working on something..and it plays in the background :D.

Read this an year ago. Was hunting a book shop at Jaipur. Was looking for a good literary work. I got an eye on this book with this author’s picture.He interested me and i started to read the summary of the book. The summary talked good and i end up paying 350/- Rs. And worth, they were.                                                      

The book(A Fine Balance) takes us to the time of the emergency and hands us a vivid picture of the poor at that time. The story comes with revelations and leave us with a sweet layer upon a salty sourness (and the taste remains long). Mistry has a vivid knowledge of emotions which is the strength of the story.

It describes three different stories at a time which all weave in together beautifully. A widow, two villagers and a college boy meld into a story of losses. Difficulties glue them together to find happiness through tough times. A storm of emotions always remains making you smile and cry. That’s what the story is about, the values, the feelings, and everything that matters can go away in a single flash and all these will change with it.

A must read for a person looking for literal maturity and an excellent story.

                                                                                                                                       Completed a book named Life is Perfect by Himani Dalmia.

Really a perfect book.It ends with soft sweetness that lasts long. What intrigues most in the book is that the  writer is young and the content is so mature. A real life presentation of “Metro Life” is being put beautifully . The protagonist’s life goes with many hills and ditches, all in the mid of her(Mitali Jaitia) love life and her crumbling and decaying family relations. She keeps a fine balance between her mom and pops relations which the author described quite naturally.

All said, a must read, after disappointments like Chetan Bhagat she smells life to young writers and readers…:)
